From air pollution to water wastage to carbon emissions, the environmental costs entailed in the circulation of marketing pamphlets to our mailboxes are eventually imposed on the public, regardless of our interest in them. After 12 bills pledging to fight junk mail have been submitted in the past six years, it’s time to get rid of this innocent-looking hazard.
